The rotary sector cutter, as incorporated in the PRL range of primary machines, is the core of Eriez samplers.
The PRL Series is ideal for dry to moist applications. Feed-materials up to 6 inches (152mm) can be sampled as standard, up to 16 inches (406mm) with modification. Reject material from the individual sample increments are returned to the main out-going stream of material, usually by gravity. Where this is not possible, either screw conveyors or light duty belt conveyors are used. This sampler has a minimum number of parts requiring routine inspection.
